A cracked flashing seam or a wind-lifted ridge cap won't wait for business hours, and neither do we — Roof Repair Smedway sends licensed Commercial Roofing technicians across North Greece, NY on the same day whenever it's humanly possible.
Roof Repair Smedway didn't start as a franchise looking for a market to plant a sign in. Our crews trained on real tear-offs, real ridge vents, and real attic inspections in North Greece, NY before we ever put a truck on the road under this name.
Ask any Roof Repair Smedway crew lead for a copy of our license and certificate of insurance and they'll hand it over before you even finish the sentence — that's standard practice here, not a special favor.
We've seen what happens when a roof gets "good enough" instead of done right — the drywall stains, the mold behind the insulation, the second call nobody wanted to make. Our Commercial Roofing teams build to avoid that call entirely.
Every lead technician carries current state credentials before stepping on a ladder.
A tarp-down call at 2 a.m. gets the same urgency as one at 2 p.m.
You'll see the number before any work starts, not buried in a final invoice.
Technicians dispatched from within North Greece, NY, not flown in from another region.
Most roof failures don't happen overnight — they build quietly for months before a homeowner notices the ceiling stain that finally forces the issue.
If your downspout discharge looks like sand, the UV-protective coating on your shingles is breaking down faster than it should.
Cupped shingles trap moisture underneath instead of shedding it, accelerating rot in the decking below.
Small gaps that let light in will let water in during the next heavy rain.
Ceiling stains tend to grow slowly, which is exactly why they're often ignored until the damage spreads.
Energy bills that creep upward without an obvious reason are worth checking against your roof's condition.
Missing shingles expose the underlayment, which is only designed as a temporary secondary barrier, not a long-term surface.
We break our work into distinct service lanes because a wind-lifted ridge cap and a full tear-off need completely different crews, materials, and timelines.
When high wind or hail peels back a section of roofing, our on-call crew tarps the exposed area to stop active water intrusion before it reaches the decking, then schedules the permanent repair.
Every residential estimate walks the homeowner through material options, from standard architectural shingles to impact-rated upgrades.
Flat and low-slope commercial roofs get scheduled inspections in addition to repair calls, catching ponding-water issues before they become structural.
Old, layered shingle systems often need a full tear-off rather than an overlay, and we'll tell you honestly which one your roof actually needs.
Post-storm inspections give homeowners a documented record for insurance purposes, whether or not a claim is ultimately filed.
Specialized repairs cover ice-dam prevention, dormer flashing, and low-slope transitions that standard shingle crews sometimes overlook.
A dispatcher takes down your address, roof type, and the issue, then routes it to the nearest available crew in North Greece, NY.
The inspection covers decking condition, flashing points, and ventilation, not just the obvious problem area.
You receive an itemized, written estimate before any work begins, covering materials, labor, and disposal.
A final walkthrough confirms the repair or install meets the agreed scope before the invoice is closed out.
Response windows are communicated upfront, not left as a vague "sometime this week."
We'd rather lose a job over an honest price than win one with a lowball number that grows later.
Certifications are kept current so warranty coverage on materials stays valid when we install them.
If something about the finished work doesn't meet the agreed scope, we come back and make it right.
Our estimates are itemized in a format most carriers recognize, which speeds up claim approval.
If a repair is all your roof needs, we'll say so — we don't push a full replacement to inflate the invoice.
We put our workmanship guarantee in writing on every job, so if something about the completed work doesn't match what was agreed, we send a crew back at no extra charge.
Material substitutions or unexpected decking damage found mid-job are always discussed with you first — we don't add line items after the fact and hope you don't notice.
Roof Repair Smedway dispatches Commercial Roofing crews to North Greece and the surrounding communities throughout North Greece, NY, with additional coverage available on request for properties just outside our standard radius.
Dispatch routes are planned around North Greece's actual neighborhoods and access roads, not a generic radius drawn on a map, which is part of why our arrival estimates tend to hold up.
